Just when I thought I could dump the education of Dr. Hal Sobel on somebody else, a new Dr. Sobel appears in the latest “Readers Write”.
This latest letter was written by somebody who could have earned a doctorate in a non-science field.
I looked for a deluge of insults and found only “whining” and “penchant for misunderstanding and illogicality.”
Dr. Sobel is capable of learning! That’s the good news. I looked for a total enemy and found a comrade providing arguments against the use of our taxes to fund the abortions provided by Planned Parenthood.
Much of Dr. Sobel’s recent article seems to be “left overs” from unpublished materials in his word processor.
And, he does seem to have a distorted view of history.
Recall, dear doctor, that slavery was once legal in this country.
Hanging black men for looking at white women was also acceptable.
In fact, burning white women to death was also acceptable if enough people judged them to be witches.
Improvements in society come about because thinking people use all their senses to gather info from the real world.
The horrors of abortion are with us largely because some people refuse to open their eyes.
I could never convince you that an abortion is the murder of human beings.
You must learn for yourself.
But, please open your eyes and look at the evidence.
My convictions about abortion are founded on an experience I had in college.
My preference for the physical sciences couldn’t keep me out of a required biology class. So, I wound up in a class of nursing students in a pre-med lab.
On display in that lab were at least a dozen preserved embryos in different stages of development.
All the talk by closed minded self-blinded “scholars” is trash talk.
Those who promote freedom to abort without a good look at what is happening are almost as guilty of murder as were the Nazi concentration camp guards of World War II.
The murder of innocents of any age does not make for a better world. What other crime results so often in the execution of the innocent for the benefit of the wrong doers?
As a Christian who worships Jehovah, I wish somebody would help you with your religious studies.
Believe it or not, you need help.
