The Island Now

Last week Jeanne Signorile couldn’t have said it better.  Vote Yes for Charlie.

Mr. Cardillo came to this district eight years ago and the district was in a state of turmoil.  We couldn’t keep administrators more than two years, teachers were using the school as a revolving door.  Yes, teachers were leaving Manhasset schools.

Mr. Cardillo brought stability and pride to the district.  He was honored by the students of the National Honor Society in 2011. Being honored by your colleagues is nice, but there is no greater honor than when your students recognize you. That is when you know you have truly affected the life of a child.

New kindergarten parents, welcome, and enjoy every minute. Vote Yes for Charlie.

Current students and parents, think about all of the shining moments, and how Mr. Cardillo could always be seen at that event.  The tireless hours he has spent working for our children. Vote Yes for Charlie.

For the alumni, remember the support Mr. Cardillo always gave you and the great academic and social environment he created while you were at Manhasset. Vote Yes for Charlie.

Thank you to all of the faculty, staff, and administrators who work for our children.

Vote Yes, May 21.
