A Brooklyn man was set to be arraigned Wednesday after he allegedly led police on a chase through Floral Park in New Hyde Park in a car authorities say he had stolen.

Police arrested Justin Kirlew, 18, early Tuesday morning on three counts of fourth-degree grand larceny, second-degree reckless endangerment leaving the scene of an accident and several vehicle and traffic violations.

Floral Park police officers saw Kirlew change lanes without signaling in a white Nissan he was driving on Jericho Turnpike near Van Buren Avenue, Nassau County police said.

The cops tried to pull him over after he turned south onto Park Avenue, but he allegedly refused to stop and tried to lose the police.

Kirlew fled on foot after losing control of the car and hit a tree and another parked vehicle near Jericho Turnpike and South Third Street in New Hyde Park, police said.

Nassau County police found him in the driveway of a house on Fourth Street and subsequently found the car had been stolen.

A passenger, described as a black man wearing a grey hat and jacket, had also run west on Jericho Turnpike, police said.

Police said they found Kirlew had wallets and credit cards he had allegedly stolen in Elmont.

Officers continue to investigate.
