Nassau County police arrested a Bronx man on Monday for allegedly selling counterfeit concert tickets in Williston Park in April.

Police said a 22-year-old woman paid Theo Cooke, 25, $900 in Williston Park on April 27 for four tickets he was selling on Craigslist to an Aug. 5 concert at Madison Square Garden by the rappers Drake and Future.

The woman later became suspicious and called ticket retailer Ticketmaster to verify the tickets’ authenticity, police said; a Ticketmaster agent told her they were not real tickets.

The woman’s friend worked with New York City police to arrange another meeting with Cooke in Queens on April 30, where he was arrested after allegedly selling fake tickets again, Nassau County police said.

Detectives from Nassau’s Third Precinct investigated afterward and placed Cooke under arrest on May 9, police said.

Cooke is charged with four counts of second-degree possession of a forged instrument and one count of petit larceny, police said.

He was set to be arraigned May 10 at Nassau County’s First District Court in Hempstead.

In Queens, Cooke faces charges of petit larceny and third-degree possession of a forged instrument.
