In Larry Penner’s article in the 1/16/15 edition of the Great Neck News, Gov. Mario Cuomo had many shortcomings.
My recollection of his relationship with civil service employees is his motto: “Do more with less.”
You can’t do more with less if you are doing a fair’s day work, something he couldn’t understand.
Maybe it’s because he did less with more – owing to the fact he had more political hacks in his administration than most governors of New York State.
