Re: The Playhouse Theatre Project!
The above project is moving forward at an extremely slow pace! It couldn’t be slow enough for me!! Being born here and living in Great Neck all my life, that theatre (even though there are no more movies there) means so much to me and to its memories.
That building is one of Great Neck’s last historical buildings, which so many of us cherish. To see it come down is like taking a part of us away.
I realize money means most everything to most of you, but you can’t replace or see your memory! I am truly appalled both villages, Great Neck Estates and Great Neck Plaza, couldn’t come up with a better suggestion to keep the “Playhouse.”
I am not the only one who feels this way.
Very upset.
