Reader’s Write: Justice Turano has ‘perfect temperment’

The Island Now

I write to express my support for the re-election of John Turano as Village Justice of Munsey Park.

I’ve known John Turano for over 25 years, both professionally and as a neighbor.  John has unique experience in the courtroom and on the bench and deserves re-election.

John has an impressive resume: he has practiced law for over 45 years and, for the past 10 years, he has served as Munsey Park village justice.

Previously, he served as an assistant district attorney and as deputy town attorney for the Town of North Hempstead.  He also served as prosecuting attorney for two neighboring villages for over 35 years.

John also has the perfect temperament for the position.  As anyone who knows John can attest, John is modest, respectful, fair-minded, compassionate, thoughtful and smart.  He has the perfect disposition to adjudicate fairly the disputes that come before him.

The residents of Munsey Park are fortunate to have John as one of their loyal public servants and John has earned their vote for re-election.
