I am writing to endorse Neil Leiberman as Great Neck parks commissioner for the Tuesday, Dec. 10 election.
Allow me to outline why Neil is qualified and why my professional experience informs me that Neil Leiberman is the right man for park commissioner.
In the 23 years I’ve known Neil as a neighbor, gym and park-goer, I have never met anyone who has his passion, vision, vigor and tolerance coupled with a desire to make the Great Neck Park District respond to the needs of our diverse cultural community.
I hope we agree that the park system we have is one of the best. We are fortunate in Great Neck to have facilities that foster both peace of mind and health, fitness and well-being.
My endorsement of Neil is not only based on knowing him, but also from a 30-year career in recreational sports.
Neil has the vision and desire to pursue a financially responsible attainment of new programs and enhance good programs to serve our community.
Please join me in voting for Neil Leiberman for parks commissioner on Dec. 10.
