Readers Write: Letter writer has right ideas to fix country

The Island Now

Dear Mr. Messina,

Have read your article, “Modest proposal to fix America, the world” and have nothing but praise for your suggestions. Your proposals were far from “modest.” It is quite apparent that a great deal of thought went into your views. You certainly were not shooting from the hip.

Your insightfulness regarding immigration reform really sent me thinking. You mention developing a system for immigrants to stay in America legally via a process to create a path to citizenship.

Now is your chance, Mr. Messina. Show these zombies in Washington by developing that path. I know you can do it.

I look forward to reading in the Courier a viable  plan for all to see and perhaps a copy should be send to our clueless fundraiser-in-chief.
