Are you tired of being harassed by Shield No. 9 overnight NHP code enforcement “Bully”? I am.
Occasionally I have to park a car on the very large apron at the end of my driveway.
I am not blocking the sidewalk or jutting out into the street, yet I get a ticket.
Since I have to shovel snow and maintain this apron, it is part of my property. He should riot be on it. Our viIliage taxes pay his salary and perhaps we should sue for unprovoked aggravated harassment, or maybe he gets a bonus for every ticket he issues!!
I know I am not alone with this problem. Better hope your car battery doesn’t die while parked in front of your house…you leave a note on the car informing “The Bully” of this and you still get a ticket!!
He is making many of us who live in the village want to leave.
All of you who have had these problems need to pick up your pen and inform Mayor Lofaro that “you’re just not going to take it anymore,” please join me in this effort to get rid of “The Bully.” ‘
Remember, crime is not the problem in New Hyde Park, “The Bully” is…he infringes on your property rights. He makes your life miserable!!!!
