I heartily endorse the candidacy of Donald T. O’Brien as commissioner of the Manhasset Lakeville Water District, and ask you to join me at the polling booth on Tuesday, Dec. 10, from 12 noon through 9 p.m..
Donald has substantial experience as a real estate consultant responsible for cost-conscious financial planning of large structures for nationwide companies and pension plans.
His skills required careful budgeting and focus on value. As guardian of the infrastructure of our water district, both the water mains and well sites need top management skills and planning to meet county, state and federal standards, and hopefully exceed those standards.
Donald listens carefully, investigates thoroughly, respectfully seeks the input of others, and weighs the option s of every important decision. He loves his community, and by training and background manages personnel, money and resources with expertise. He is a superb administrator. His talents, achievements and commitment will serve us well. We need his efficiency, transparency and wisdom.
