A number of the mailboxes in New Hyde Park have been taken away.
When I called the Post Office to inquire, they replied that people have been injured mailing a letter and an investigation is underway to see if they will be returned.
So now people have to drive to a mailbox to mail a letter instead of walking and what if you don’t drive?
This is nothing but stupidity. I think it’s time to privatize the Post Office in light of all the recent negative press.
