Readers Write: Brooklyn eatery worker’s hatred of police shocking

The Island Now

I was appalled and found quite troubling that a cop-hating worker at a Dunkin Donuts in Brooklyn deny service to two hard working police officers.

Michael Palladino head of the detectives union called it a disgrace and should not go unattended. I totally agree.

Palladino also said,” The city’s elected officials deserved blame for having encouraged this type of behavior by constantly demonizing cops.”

Now furthermore if one worker could get away with this more people at other chains would do the same which creates a virus of hate. What some of these people don’t understand is that those in law-enforcement are there to serve and protect them from the criminal element that seeks their harm.

To deny service to a segment of our society, reminds me of the Civil Rights Movement where there were those who were deny service because of the color of their skin.

Now the focus of some is to deny service to those who protect the rights of the many.

These police officers are there to protect us all.

So therefore what’s wrong with that ?

I guess stupid is what stupid does !
