I read all of the complaints about the third track and wonder if the complaints are like the ones voiced when the LIRR raised the tracks in downtown Floral Park.
That must have shut down the area.
How about reprinting those complaints so people might compare them to what is going on now.
I am glad I don’t live adjacent to the tracks.
In my opinion, the LIRR has done a poor job of selling the third track to residents.
Maybe if they picked up on my idea it might help both sides understand what is going on.
