Readers Write: Manchester terror attack an attack on us all

The Island Now

Murder was committed in Manchester, England.

Salman Abedi, age 22, was identified as the suicide bomber who killed 22 and injured many more and many of them children and teens.

This took place at an Ariana Grande concert, which should of been a time of enjoyment, not of great sadness.

I’m appalled and greatly saddened over this egregious and nefarious act of hate against children.

ISIS has claimed responsibility for this massacre, which demonstrates this group knows no limits to their evil.

The world must stand in solidarity with all Britons and say enough is enough.

Therefore, my heartfelt prayers go out to the family, friends and all those effected by this evil act against innocent people.

How is an 8-year-old child who was killed have any hate for anyone?

The time has come when good must prevail against evil.

Even here in America we must be always be on the alert, and if we see something we must say something.

Remember this too: evil thrives when good people do nothing!
