Some NICE bus riders who (boarded the) n20G Great Neck bus at Flushing-Main Street (today were) confused due to (the) small Falun Gong Parade (going on) from noon to 5 p.m.
A passenger on the 7:15 p.m. n20G Great Neck bus told me that the MTA had sign(s) where MTA buses (were) pick(ing) up during (the) detour, but not for (the) NICE bus.
Even (the) n20G bus driver (was) frustrated why they (didn’t send a) supervisior to (the) Flushing-Main St bus stop.
Or why (can’t) New York City DOT, U.S. DOT and state DOT give permit(s) for NICE bus(es) to post detour sign(s) in Queens.
This wasn’t (the) only time NICE bus riders were confus(ed) with detour change(s), especially n20G bus rider(s).
(During the) Chinese Lunar New Year Parade in Flushing (in) February, (the) NICE Bus Service Alert (misinformed that the) n20G bus’s first stop was Sanford Ave./Parsons Blvd., but the first and last stop(s) (were) actually Bowne St. and 41st Ave., with (the) Q12 bus.
(And) on every single Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade and Great Neck Memorial Day Parade, (misinformation about the) n20G bus end(s) up making (a) U-turn (on) Bottonwood Rd. or get(s) confuse(d) on (a) detour, especially (a) new driver.
They never sent (a) supervisior (to) Flushing either.
(The) MTA post(s) sign(s) for Q12 and Q13 bus stop(s) along Northern Blvd., but (not) NICE.
During the Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade, (the) n20G bus usually go(es) on Lakeville Rd., (the) Long Island Expy. and Douglaston Pkwy. or Francis Lewis Blvd., depend(ing) (on the location of the) parade.
I have informed (the) Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade organizer to contact NICE about (the) detour(s), but they never do it.
Lots of n20G and n20H bus riders are frustrated when there (are) service detour(s) affecting their bus stop(s) in Queens.
Also, NICE has never posted (a) sign for n21 bus rider(s) in Great Neck (and) Glen Cove, and there’s no bus on Sunday.
