After reading the article dated Mary 26, regarding the Floral Park Pool and Clinton G. Martin Pool situation, we feel outraged at the implication made by Nadia Holubnyczyj-Ortiz and the petition signers.
She stated that the members of the Floral Park Pool will no longer feel safe if the Clinton G. Martin pool members are permitted to join their pool.
This article suggests that anyone who lives in New Hyde Park/Manhasset Hills is not trustworthy.
We feel this article is offensive, rude, insensitive and uncharitable.
Do all Floral Park Pool members need to undergo a background check in order to join.
Are we really next door neighbors or dangerous strangers?
The Williston Park Pool welcomed Clinton G. Martin Pool Members for the summer of 2017.
