I am writing to support our current trustee Chris Siciliano for re-election to the East Williston Board on March 15.
I have known Chris and his wonderful family for over 15 years. I have had the privilege of serving with Chris on the Village Board, and he has a firm grasp on current village issues and would be an asset to keep on the board at these crucial times.
He understands the needs of our village, he has been a lifelong resident, and will continue to work on solutions for the future. His input and comments at meetings are always informative, straightforward, and well thought out.
He has a great rapport with residents and is respected and trustworthy.
He was the liaison to the department of public works when I was on the board, and many days I saw his truck parked right outside the village garage, making sure the village was ready for an upcoming snowstorm, hurricane, village parades/events, or water main issues etc.
He was committed to the job he was entrusted, and took it seriously. He was very involved with the renovations and extension on our DPW.
Now, our historic fire truck is housed in the village, for easy accessibility for parades and holidays. He was vital in purchase of the new street sweeper and replacement of street signs throughout the village.
Chris has selflessly given his time and talents to the village. He has served the Fire Department throughout his life, even becoming chief and commissioner. He has been an active member and co-chair, of our Historic Committee for many years and has brought many events for residents to learn of our villages’ history.
He has helped many of the village committees over the years, whether we needed to secure more chairs for a recreation event, move large boxes of books for the annual book sale, or help post No Parking signs for annual tag sale, he has been there.
He knows everyone and would do anything to help you out; I admire this quality in a trustee, dedication and concern. He has made our village a great place to live already and I believe we need him to continue.
I sincerely encourage my friends and fellow residents to join me in supporting Chris Siciliano for re-election to the Board of Trustees.
I am confident that he is deserving of the position.
