Great Neck Public Schools 25-year employees were recognized by the Board of Education and professional associations representing teachers, administrators, and civil service staff on June 12.

Those recognized, in alphabetical order, included: Karen Cuchel (art teacher/department head, South High), Jennifer DiPalo (health teacher/department head, South Middle), Anita Femia (teacher aide, Lakeville), Merdeck B. Fowler (custodian, Baker), Jean Igoe (physical education teacher, Lakeville), Susan Ieronimo-McGuigan (special education teacher, South High), Andrea Kaplan (teaching assistant, North Middle), Barbara Ann Magloire (kindergarten teacher, Saddle Rock), Elizabeth Natter (teaching assistant, Parkville), Willie Peterson, Jr. (groundskeeper, South Campus), Anna Maria Reda (school monitor, Kennedy), Samantha Tarantola (director of community education), and Theresa Wygand (second-grade teacher, Lakeville).
