Police said a traffic stop in Roslyn Heights led to the arrest of four individuals who allegedly had stolen merchandise and what is believed to be OxyContin in the vehicle.

Last Thursday, Nassau County detectives said officers noticed a 2021 BMW with a New Jersey license plate that appeared to be fraudulent while performing a routine patrol.

After pulling the car over at the intersection of Mineola Boulevard and Hillside Avenue, police said, they recovered a second fraudulent license plate, assorted stolen merchandise and what they believe to be OxyContin.

The four occupants of the vehicle, Marcus Myers, 25, Baseemah Davis, 34, and Antoinette Myers, 33, all of New Jersey, and Nikia Edmonds, 24, of the Bronx, were arrested.

Marcus Myers was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree and two counts of possession of burglar’s tools.

Edmonds was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree and two counts of criminal possession of an anti-security item.

Davis was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, three counts of possession of burglar’s tools, criminal possession of an anti-security item, two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and three counts of criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree.

Antoinette Myers was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, four counts of criminal possession of an anti-security item and two counts of possession of burglar’s tools.

All four were arraigned last Friday at First District Court in Hempstead. Efforts to reach their lawyers  were unavailing.
