The Adelphi University’s Performing Arts Center will be presenting a live radio-style reading of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” by student actors on Saturday, Dec. 17 at 2 p.m.
The AUPAC’s Olmsted Theatre is located at 1 South Ave. in Garden City.
Dramatized by Barbara Field and under the direction of Brian Rose, an Adelphi department of theatre professor, the performance is put on by more than a dozen department of theatre students, according to a press release from the AUPAC.
The holiday event is free, however audience members are encouraged to bring a can or box of non-perishable food as a donation to the Mary Brennan Interfaith Nutrition Network of Hempstead.
