Nassau County police are investigating a report that three teenage boys were robbed at knifepoint in Kings Point on Saturday night.

Detectives said the 16-year-old victims were on a boat ramp on Dock Lane at 11:45 p.m. when they were approached by two Hispanic males with their faces concealed.

They then displayed knives and told the victims to surrender everything they had, detectives said, and the victims gave up some of their clothing and other possessions.

It is unclear what the other possessions may have been. The exact value of the items has not been determined.

The police were contacted by one of the youths after the victims went home, detectives said. No injuries were reported.

“It’s an alleged robbery of three people, but only one reported and it’s still under investigation,” Kings Point Police Commissioner George Banville said.

Kings Point tends to be a quiet place, Banville added, estimating that only one burglary occurred in the last year or so.

Detectives request anyone with information about the crime to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
