A Brookyln man was arrested March 7 after allegedly burglarizing two Plandome homes, according to police.

Alexander Acosta, 19, was charged with two counts of second-degree burglary for entering a Gaynor Avenue home through a side window and removing two laptop computers, assorted jewelry and watches, police said.

A short while later, he allegedly took a 32-inch television from a home on South Drive.

Police believe a second person was involved in the burglary, though an arrest has not yet been made.

Acosta was arrested in Brooklyn later that evening by New York City police and placed in custody at Queens Criminal Court, according to Nassau County police.  The stolen property was recovered at the time of the arrest.

Acosta was arraigned at 1st District Court in Hempstead March 8.
