The Art Guild is invites residents to the 2017 Art From The Heart Fundraiser.
The exhibit and silent auction of over 100 unique and beautiful original artworks began Dec. 1 and culminates with a festive holiday party and final bidding from 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 9.
The Art Guild supplied local artists with 10-by-10 wooden panels. Artists then created one-of-a-kind artworks in the medium of their choice — collage, photography, oil, acrylic or watercolors and donated it back to the Guild.

The proceeds from this fundraiser go toward the Guild’s Education Fund, which awards scholarships to high school students pursuing careers in the arts, as well as other education related events and programs.
Silent auction bidding begins today until 5 p.m. The gallery will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. Dec. 2 and 3, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 4 through Dec. 8, and from 1 to 8 p.m. Dec. 9. The holiday party begins at 5 p.m. and bidding ends at 7:30 p.m. The bidding on each unique artwork will start at $100 and will make a great gift this holiday season.
Guests on Saturday evening can nibble on hearty appetizers and desserts generously donated by local restaurants and supermarkets including Frank’s Pizza, Wings Plus, Ayhan’s Marketplace, Stop & Shop, Saint Honoré, Whole Foods, Uncle Guiseppe’s, and others.
The remaining artworks will be on exhibit and available to purchase for $100 through Jan. 7.
