Assemblyman D’Urso honors birth of Lubavitcher Rebbe

Assemblyman Anthony D’Urso (D-Great Neck) met with Albany area rabbis following the Assembly resolution honoring the 117th anniversary of the birth of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson. The resolution was introduced by Assemblyman David Weprin.

Rabbi Schneerson, who let the Chabad Lubavitch movement for 44 years, established more than 1,500 Lubavitch Centers throughout the world advancing the education of countless individuals. The Chabad Lubavitch now have institutions in every state and operate more than 5,000 centers worldwide.
