Long Island-based Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Laffey International Realty is delighted to announce that Melissa Mangia has been promoted to assistant manager in the Williston Park office.

A well-rounded real estate professional, Mangia brings to the table a wealth of experience. She has been a licensed real estate salesperson for 15 years and an associate real estate broker for two years. Mangia also offers extensive foreclosure and short-sale experience, having been a foreclosure paralegal for five years. Additionally, she brings vast knowledge of the structural and mechanical workings of a house from her experience as an insurance surveyor. She is also a certified stager and a notary public.

“I am very excited about my new position,” said Mangia. “My plans are to facilitate a dramatic increase in office production, while helping agents advance in their careers. I started my career at Laffey 17 years ago. Though I left for awhile, I soon realized that BHHS Laffey international is the best real estate brokerage on Long Island, so I returned in 2017. It’s an honor to now be in a position in which I can make significant contributions to the company’s growth.”
