To celebrate their firm’s 100th year in business, Hiram Cohen & Son’s staff, family, and friends collected over 100 coats to give to the Church of St. Aidan.
“When we came up with the idea of 100 coats for 100 years, we simply wanted to do something for the community to help celebrate our centennial year,” said Ron Cohen, president at Hiram Cohen & Son, a Williston Park-based insurance agency.
“Within four days, we had 50 coats, just from our staff alone. And before we knew it, we had collected 119 new and used winter coats for the church to give to those in need.”
