The 2019 Spooky Fest presented by the Center for Science Teaching and Learning returns this fall once again to celebrate the Halloween season with scary and non-scary attractions that are perfect for all ages.

New to Spooky Fest this year is Dinosaurs! and People’s United Bank’s Animal Adventures. Visitors will hear dinosaurs roar as they see over 20 dinosaurs and meet with over 35 live wild animals, ranging from snakes to emus. During Spooky Fest, CSTL’s new Dinosaurs! and People’s United Bank Animal Adventure will extend its hours from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Spooky Fest 2019 takes place at CSTL’s headquarters at Nassau County’s Tanglewood Preserve at 1450 Tanglewood Road, Rockville Centre on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays on Oct. 12, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27 and Nov. 2 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. each evening, rain or shine.

Tickets are $10 at the gate for non-spooky attractions only and are $15 at the gate for all-inclusive attractions, including both scary and non-scary.

“To celebrate the opening of Dinosaurs! and People’s United Bank Animal Adventure, we will be extending the hours of the exhibit so it is open during Spooky Fest. Spooky Fest is a family tradition and we have entertainment and heart-pumping thrills for all ages,” said Dr. Ray Ann Havasy, Executive Director of CSTL.

Admission to the Dinosaurs! and People’s United Bank Animal Adventure is a separate ticket, and will cost an additional $15 for adults and $12 for children under 10.
