The Art League of Long Island brings the artists out of its studios and directly to the public at a Pop-Up Art Walk at Walt Whitman Shops on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visitors to the mall will be treated to a visual feast of artwork, live demonstrations, and hands-on activities for children and adults. Demonstrations include painting, drawing, pottery and ceramic art, printmaking, and jewelry making.

Meet the art instructors and learn about the Art League’s art classes and programs for adults, teens, and children.

The Art League is grateful for the support provided by Walt Whitman Shops in opening up their space to the local arts community. “Walt Whitman Shops is thrilled to support the Art League of Long Island by hosting the Art Fest event. We recognize the importance of art for our local community and encourage families to attend the interactive art event”, said Jessica Ekin, director of marketing and business development.

The Dix Hills-based Art League of Long Island is a not-for-profit art center offering more than 250 visual arts classes in a large variety of mediums to adults, teens, and kids ages four and up.
