The Town of North Hempstead’s Yes We Can community will be hosting an opening reception for a memorial art exhibit in honor of Felix Brow-Westbrook.
Brow-Westbrook was an artist who passed away at the age of 29 from mesothelioma. His life revolved around artwork, therefore his sister, Rebekah Parise, a student from Carle Place, wanted to host an exhibit that pays tribute to his life by exploring his art.
The Yes We Can Community Center will be hosting the opening reception from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on June 20. The exhibit will be on display until June 23.
