Thoughts emerge from consciousness and slip away as easily as they appear. To associate with your thoughts is misleading since some thoughts are not useful. Our mind adds dialogue to our daily experience and accepts it as true. Unfortunately, the mind tends to dwell towards the negative and judgmental. Mindfulness practices help us to notice when our mind takes a left turn and steer it back towards more healthy patterns that benefit our wellbeing.
