Congregation tag dale in Glen Cove, Nov. 10, 11

Congregation Tifereth Israel in Glen Cove holds its 2019 Tag Sale, a shopping opportunity that is eagerly awaited each year by the community, on Sunday, Nov. 10 and Monday, Nov. 11, both days from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free.

In addition to the two days of the tag sale, there will be a special Early Bird Preview Sale on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 7-9 p.m.; admission to the preview is $8. Proceeds from this annual tag sale benefit CTI.

CTI’s tag sale offers treasures selected from the North Shore homes of members and friends of the synagogue. The sale features an extensive selection of new and gently used clothing for men, women and children in all sizes.

Also available for sale are jewelry, housewares, kitchen and dining room tableware, decorative items for the home, furniture, small electrical appliances, lighting fixtures, vinyl records, exercise and sports equipment, cookbooks, toys, children’s books, and much, much more. On Monday, Nov. 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., remaining clothing and linens will be sold for a set fee per bag (free admission to bag sale).
