COBRA Defense Long Island participated at the Cub Scouts Pack 201 night in Williston Park on Friday, Dec. 13.
The pack night took place at the Herricks Center Street School at 240 Center St.
C.O.B.R.A. Instructor Kevin Strong and partner Jennifer Graham empowered the entire pack and parents with a free Child Abduction Prevention Power demo. The curriculum is specifically designed for kids 5-12 years of age.
Children this age cannot effectively defend themselves against an adult attacker with basic punches and kicks. The duo teach children how to survive a bad situation. The pair is law enforcement-based training. Reality is much different than sport. When self defense is a must, nothing else will do.
