Madison McKenzie, of St. Albans, Queens, enjoys a carnival game at Cohen Children’s Medical Center, thanks to volunteers from FDNY’s Engine 84 and Ladder 34 in Washington Heights.
After losing two of their brethren in 2010, the firefighters joined together to form “The Lil’ Bravest,” a carnival dedicated to honoring the courage and determination of young patients at children’s hospitals throughout the New York metro area.
