Free transportation to early voting sites for seniors and physically challenged

All Island Transportation has announced it will provide free local transportation in Nassau County during the early voting period, Saturday, Oct. 24 through Sunday,  Nov. 1 to all Physically Challenged and Senior Citizens to and from the polls, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

“As a family-owned and -operated business here in Nassau County we know first-hand the effects that COVID-19 has had on families and businesses throughout the county. If our offer of free transportation eases the burden for even one family it will be well worth it,” said Marianne Blessinger, president of All Island Transportation.

To reserve a vehicle please call 516-742-2222 on any one of the early voting period days. With the impact of COVID-19 on our communities, voting is more important than ever and All Island Transportation is dedicated to providing safe and convenient transportation for those in need during the entire early voting period.

All Island will transport riders to the nearest early voting location. Those locations are as follows:
