Squirts Multi Sports Great Neck Park District and US Sports Institute partner to offer children ages 3-7 a chance to learn a variety of sports. The program is held at Memorial Field on Sundays beginning Sun., Sept. 15. Children experience lacrosse, soccer, T-ball and track & field in a safe, fun learning environment. Doggie Paddle at the Parkwood Family Aquatic Center Park District residents with a park pass can bring their dog to the Parkwood Family Aquatic Center on Sunday, September 15 between 12 and 3 p.m. for a farewell to summer 2019. Stepping Stones Lighthouse 5K Run Join us for the third annual Stepping Stones Lighthouse 5K Run fundraiser on Sunday, October 6, 9 a.m. Help restore this charming, historic lighthouse (built in 1877) and save it from further decay. Contribute to the restoration effort by donating or participating in the 5K Run event. The fee is $25 until 5 p.m. on October 4; $30 on race day (cash only on race day).
