Genealogy Workshop – Your Family Tree: Genealogy is one of the fastest growing hobbies in the Unites States, but with all the information out there, it can be difficult to get started. Join librarian and genealogy enthusiast Grace Palmisano and learn some helpful hints on tracing your family history. Special attention will be paid to digital records. Palmisano has been actively working on her own genealogy for over 20 years. Register at the reference desk or call 516-746-8488 ext. 2.

Advanced Lego Robotics: Pair up with a partner to build an advanced Lego robotic structure, using a Lego WeDo kit and a laptop computer. Prior experience is recommended. Lego materials are not to be taken home. Please register in the children’s room or call 516-746-8488 ext. 1.
