The Board and Ritual Committee of Temple Judea have decided this year in light of the current pandemic circumstances to hold High Holiday services remotely for the over 750 people expected to attend.

Rabbi Todd Chizner and Cantor Deborah Jacobson will be leading the services. Because of the restrictions of the pandemic, all members and guests will observe the traditions, prayers and blessings from their homes virtually.
We will also be holding an in-person drive-in program on the second day of Rosh Hashanah.

Professional technical support has been engaged to assist in making the services as meaningful as possible.

Throughout the long history of the Jewish people, their ability to adapt to adverse circumstances while holding on to what is most important accounts for their enduring vitality and relevance. This is truly a time of challenge to keep the spirit and significance of the High Holy Days.

For more information about dates and times, the Temple office can be reached to (516) 621-8049 or www.temple-judea.com.

Tempe Judea is located at 333 Searingtown Road, Manhasset (exit 36N on the LIE). New members are welcome and the first year of membership is free.
