Israeli activist Anat Hoffman will be the guest speaker at Temple Beth-El of Great Neck on Friday, Aug. 2 at 6:30 p.m.
Hoffman not only serves as executive director of the Israel Religious Action Center, but is also director and founding member of Nashot HaKotel, Women of the Wall.
The Jerusalem Post ranked her fifth on its list of 50 Most Influential Jews for forcefully and successfully bringing the issue of women’s rights at the Kotel to the “forefront of the consciousness of world Jewry.”
