Sid Jacobson JCC is proud to present Julie Satow, author of “The Plaza: The Secret Life of America’s Most Famous Hotel” as its Irene & Ronald Cohen Spotlight Speaker. Satow will be at the JCC in East Hills on Thursday, Oct. 3, 10:30 a.m. Tickets for the event are now on sale at sjjcc.org/culturalarts.

The “infectiously fun read,” The Plaza: The Secret Life of America’s Most Famous Hotel offers an unforgettable and thrilling account of one of New York City’s most illustrious landmarks, capturing the wealth, glamour, and scandals that have shaped the storied hotel. The wildly popular book has been highlighted on The Today Show and NY1, and by editors of The New York Times, Vogue, Fortune, and Time.

Julie Satow is an award-winning journalist who has covered real estate in New York City for more than a decade. Satow is a regular contributor to The New York Times and her work has appeared on National Public Radio, the New York Post, HuffPost, and in other outlets.

Tickets to the Spotlight Speaker event featuring Julie Satow include the author presentation, question and answer session, a light breakfast, and free valet parking. The program begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Rubenstein Auditorium at Sid Jacobson JCC. Tickets to the event are now on sale, $30 non-members and $25 members.
