Metropolitan Commercial Bank brings on 2 new members to Great Neck banking center

Metropolitan Commercial Bank’s Great Neck banking center recently welcomed Samira Assil as vice president and Branch Operations Manager and Thomas Mazzini as vice president and market sales manager.

Assil brings 15 years of managerial experience to Metropolitan Commercial Bank. Ms. Assil previously served as assistant branch manager of the Great Neck branch of TD Bank, where she consistently exceeded that branch’s sales revenue and customer experience goals and objectives.

In discussing her move to Metropolitan Commercial Bank, Assil stated, “I could not be prouder to join a company that holds community values at the forefront of its work and makes client relationships a priority over the common trend of automated banking practices. Ensuring our customers feel protected and valued could not be more crucial than it is now during this pandemic.”

Mazzini brings over 35 years of experience in banking and finance to Metropolitan Commercial Bank as well as almost two decades of experience working with the Great Neck community. Prior to joining Metropolitan Commercial Bank,Mazzini served in executive and managerial roles at TD Bank, Citibank, and Republic National Bank. Mr. Mazzini serves as treasurer of the Rotary Club of Great Neck, a Board member of the Great Neck Chamber of Commerce and treasurer of the Great Neck Social Center.
