An informal and intimate pairing of music and friends with celebrated vocalist Susan Agin, describes the newest program, “Music After Dark,” that begins at Temple Emanuel of Great Neck on Thursday, Oct. 31 at 8:00 p.m. in the synagogue’s “little theatre upstairs.”
Accompanied by live musicians, each show features new music and a special guest artist. Appearing with Susan on Oct. 31 is Bobby Harden, New York City’s acclaimed soul/ rhythm and blues singing sensation, thrilling audiences as the lead singer of the world-famous Original Blues Brothers Band.
The first show includes songs recorded by Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Otis Redding, Barbra Streisand, Linda Ronstadt, Donna Summer, Nat King Cole, Smokey Robinson, Carlos Santana and many others.
The fully accessible venue offers free parking in an adjacent lot as well as on the street. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
Temple Emanuel of Great Neck is located at 150 Hicks Lane, Great Neck.
