North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Council Member Viviana Russell recently attended Hofstra University’s 58th Annual George M. Estabrook Distinguished Service Award luncheon on Dec. 16 at Chateau Briand.

The Hofstra George M. Estabrook Alumni Association was formed to promote the interest and welfare of Hofstra University by identifying and recognizing distinguished and outstanding alumni through award programs and establishing scholarship programs for deserving students.

This year’s honorees included Nassau County Legislator Siela Bynoe, Daniel DeStefano, Shelter Island Town Supervisor Gary Gerth, Associate Professor Emerita, Lawrence Herbert School of Communication Hofstra University Nancy Kaplan, Huntington Town Supervisor Chad Lupinacci and Great Neck Public Schools Trustee Rebecca Sassouni.
