The Town of North Hempstead recently unveiled a newly revamped website for Project Independence.
“We hope these new updates will help make the website more user friendly and intuitive,” said North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth. “Our website has all the latest updates including our virtual classes, exercise programs for seniors, newsletters, and more.”
The website’s new features include:
New graphics and design.
News and updates section with newsletters, email newsletters, calendars, and articles
Links to the Project Independence virtual exercise classes.
Links to listen to the live “PI and You” radio show, access archived shows, and Zoom recordings
Project Independence informational brochures and Project Independence transportation brochures in different languages including English, Spanish, Mandarin, Korean, Creole and Farsi
