Parker Jewish Institute gratefully received KN95 masks from Temasek Foundation, which supports programs that uplift lives and communities in Singapore and beyond.
The masks will enable Parker’s dedicated front-line workers and residents to protect against the spread of the COVID-19 virus, which is still present in the New York metropolitan region.
The donation was arranged through New York-based Continuing Care Leadership Coalition, a trade association that represents not-for-profit long-term care organizations. CCLC distributed 500,000 protective masks to its members.
To ensure that Parker and other organizations received the donated KN95 masks from the Temasek Foundation, CLCC partnered with several organizations.
These organizations include Afya Foundation, which aims to improve global health by rescuing surplus medical supplies and delivering them to underserved health systems around the world. And they include two health-care private equity firms – Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe and Shields Health Solutions.

Rosenblut, Parker’s president and CEO. “We are very appreciative that these organizations worked together to enhance the safety measures already in place at Parker.”
