State Sen. Elaine Phillips recently met with students from Sewanhaka High School to discuss the importance of government and leadership.
“Our local state and federal governments depend on the involvement and contribution of young people like those at Sewanhaka High School,” Phillips said. “Thank you to Principal Dr. Christopher Salinas, Superintendent Dr. Ralph Ferrie and Matt Schwartz for inviting me to meet with district’s Student Government to listen to the ideas of our future community leaders.”
