Following another successful season of soccer, tennis, and cross-country, Buckley Country Day School recently handed out its Fall Athletic Awards. Two local residents took home trophies.
Isabelle Chang of Sands Point was named the Most Improved Player for the 7/8 Tennis Team and Port Washington’s Thomas Day earned the Buckley Bulldog Award for Spirit as a member of the Boys 7/8 Soccer Team.
“I am so proud of all of our student-athletes,” said Buckley Athletic Director Isaac Neal. “They consistently gave 100-percent and never forgot that good sportsmanship is the most important aspect of our program.”
