Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Town Clerk Wayne Wink and Councilwoman Dina De Giorgio along with Greg Shaub and Scoutmaster Andy Johns of Port Washington Troop 7 congratulated Alex Maus on reaching the rank of Eagle Scout during his Eagle Scout Court of Honor June 1 at Church of Our Saviour, Lutheran in Manhasset.
Alex was presented with a proclamation of recognition for his dedication to his troop and to the local community. For his Eagle Scout Service Project, Alex improved the handicapped accessibility to Church of Our Saviour, Lutheran at 1901 Northern Blvd. His project included updating the church’s ADA-compliant door, installing an ADA-compliant bench and ADA- compliant signage as well as enhancing the landscape around the entryway.
