Pat has served our community as a board member for 15 years and thanks to her tireless efforts, the educational leadership of our community has produced one of the best school districts in the country.
This enormous level of success is the product of countless hours invested in listening to all voices and unwavering support for initiatives that improve the quality of education while championing fiscal responsibility. Overseeing a school district like Manhasset’s is a complex job and one which demands the type of leadership that Pat has and will provide.
I’ve had the privilege of seeing my four children receive an outstanding education as students in Manhasset and spent nearly 20 years involved with SCA. This gave me the opportunity to watch Pat, the board and the administration tackle significant challenges while continuously moving our district forward.
This is an exceptionally important time for our community – every day, month and year play a critical role in our children’s future. Now, more than ever, we need leaders who have proven their ability to successfully face challenges and have done so with transparency and a balanced assessment of the needs of students, parents and taxpayers. There is no one better than Pat.
Vote by Mail Ballots should have be in your mailbox starting May 29. Each qualified voter in the district will be mailed a ballot with a postage-paid return envelope. Your ballot is due to the district clerk by June 9 at 5 p.m. You can mail the ballot or hand-deliver it to the Secondary School security checkpoint from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, where you will place the ballot in a lockbox.
