St. Peter of Alcantara Annual Lenten Mission will be held on April 1 to 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the main church at 1321 Port Washington Blvd.
Moderator Father Salvatore Enzo Del Bracco is a member of the Passionate order, which excels in preaching at missions and retreats. Enzo chose his mission theme, “Love is Ingenious.”
Enzo lived on Irma Avenue in Port Washington for several years of his boyhood and is a cousin of parishioner Mary Cavallaro.
Ordained only 23 years ago in 1996, Enzo has served in 31 countries on six continents and speaks six languages. His ministries have focused on the youth, the poor, the disabled and those marginalized in society. He has been assigned to Haiti since 2014, and has worked diligently in the Hurricane Matthew relief efforts since 2016.
